This past week, our lodge had the distinct honor of recognizing two remarkable Brothers whose dedication and commitment embody the very best of our Masonic values. In a heartfelt ceremony filled with fellowship, gratitude, and reflection, we celebrated Brother Don Lenoard for reaching 50 years of service and Brother Mel Wiseman for an extraordinary 70 years of membership.

A Half-Century of Brotherhood

Reaching 50 years in Masonry is a milestone achieved by few, and it represents far more than the passage of time. Our 50-year honoree Brother Don Leonard has spent decades supporting lodge activities, mentoring younger Masons, and demonstrating the timeless principles of our craft. As he received his 50-Year Award, he shared stories of his early days in the lodge—stories that connected us to our history and to the generations who shaped the path we walk today. His journey stands as a testament to perseverance, integrity, and devotion to the fraternity.

A Rare and Inspiring 70 Years of Masonry

Even rarer still is the honor of celebrating Brother Mel Wiseman who has dedicated 70 years to Masonry. Brother Wiseman has witnessed—and contributed to—nearly three-quarters of a century of lodge history. His life in Masonry has inspired countless Brothers, and his example continues to light the way for our lodge’s future.

Presenting the 70-Year pin was a meaningful moment for everyone in attendance. It was more than recognition—it was a celebration of a lifetime of service, wisdom, and brotherly love.
